ODBC Connections

I have a network with 6 machines sitting on it.
All PC`s are configued in the same way. 5 of the machines connect to a SQL
server via ODBC with no problems.
The sixth PC however does not connect to the server giving the following :-
Connection Failed
SQL State '01000;
SQL Server Error: 11001
TCP/IP Sockets Connection Open
GetHosting Name
General network error.
I`m connecting via aTCP/IP on port 1433.
Does anyone have any idea why I am encountering these problems ?did you try 'telnet YourDBServerIP 1433'?
