Can anyone tell me if MSDE is ODBC compliant?
It is not the DBMS which is ODBC compliant or not. The question is whether there exist an ODBC driver for the
DBMS. And the answer is "yes", obviously. MS invented ODBC (*), and MSDE is SQL Server and SQL Server is MS's
strategic DBMS :-)
(*) ODBC is actually just an implementation of the ANSI SQL CLI standard...
